Nataliya Malynovska holds a PhD in political science and teaches at the political science and national security department at the National University «Ostroh Academy». In 2012, she received her master’s degree in political science from Rivne State University of Humanities. Nataliya completed a postgraduate course at Eastern European Lesia Ukrayinka National University majoring in the political issues of international systems and global development. In 2017, she defended her thesis on «The Islamic Vector in the Foreign Policy of France» at Chernivtsi Yuriy Fedkovych National University.
An author of over 20 research publications and the op-ed «Female Politicians in the Muslim Countries» on Gender in Detail (2018). A policy expert and project leader at the Respublica Institute and the national initiative «Active Community». A coach in the program «Raising Public Awareness of the Local Self-Government Reform» run by the National Democratic Institute. Graduate of «Policy Analysis: from Theory to Action» program at Kyiv School of Economics (2018). Participant of the Open World internship (USA).
Nataliya’s research interests include politics and Islam, gender studies, and women’s rights in the Muslim countries.
