Wu Ming-yi

Author of «The Stolen Bicycle»

One of the central figures in contemporary Asian literature, Wu Ming-Yi is a Taiwanese writer, artist, designer, photographer, literary professor, and environmental activist. Widely considered the leading writer of his generation, Wu is known for writing environmental literature. His novel «The Man with the Compound Eyes» is an ecological parable that brought international recognition to its author. Ursula Le Guin praised it as a novel science fiction from Taiwan.
