Alina Doricheva

Alina studied Chinese language and literature at the Institute of Philology of Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University. During her studies, she researched Sanmao’s works and defended her thesis on this subject. A graduate of the Faculty of Philosophy of Kunming University of Science and Technology, she spent seven years living in China. Currently, Alina teaches English and Chinese in Canada. A member of Literary Translator's Association of Canada.

For Safran publishing house, she translated Sanmao’s «The Stories of the Sahara» from Traditional Chinese.
