Translator of fiction and films, editor. Olena received her master’s degree from the National University «Kyiv-Mohyla Academy», majoring in literary theory and comparative studies. She has translated from English and/or edited more than thirty works of fiction and non-fiction, including novels and essays by Stephen King, Stephen Covey, Steven Pinker, Ransom Riggs, and others. Olena enjoys cooking, collecting cookbooks, and travelling across the world, even if on the pages of books. She feels awe and reverence for the Chinese language, just like for any uncharted territory. But as an adventurous person, open to all kinds of new things, she dared to plunge headlong into the delicious world of the Chinese cuisine, so unusual—and emerged to the surface with a treasure chest.
For Safran publishing house, Olena edited «The Ants Climbing a Tree».
