Svitlana Rybalko

An art historian, art critic, and curator of exhibition projects. A graduate of Saint Petersburg Ilya Repin State Academic Institute of Painting, Sculpture, and Architecture majoring in art history. Her research interests involve the artistic traditions of Japan. In 2005–2010, Svitlana attended Sodo Kimono Academy. In 2017 and 2019, she participated in the Traditional Theater Training (Nôgaku class) in Kyoto. Doctor of art history, professor, member of the European Association for Japanese Studies (EAJS), the International Association for Japan Studies (IAJS), and the International Association of Art Critics (AICA). Head of the oriental art research school at Kharkiv State Academy of Culture.

Academic editor and author of the foreword in «88 Ornaments of Kimono».
