Volodymyr Selihey

A PhD in comparative literature, translator. A graduate of Dnipro Oles Honchar National University and Sichuan University. A former associate professor of the DOHNU’s department of comparative philology of Eastern and English-language countries and teacher of Modern and Classical Chinese, history of ancient and contemporary Chinese literature, Japanese literature, English language, and a range of theoretical disciplines. His research interests include contemporary and classical Chinese literature and the phenomena of Chinese transculturation in contemporary writing.

For Safran publishing house, he translated Wu Ming-yi’s «The Stolen Bicycle» from Traditional Chinese.
